I completed my philosophy BA at the University of California, Berkeley and my philosophy MA at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. My current research focuses on the issue of justified harm or action. I teach courses in ethics and political philosophy.

Teaching

Topics covered in my courses include moral objectivism, principles of beneficence, the inefficacy challenge, the non-identity problem, and AI as it relates to ethics.

Research

 My dissertation is about justified harm or action. I am particularly interested in the issue of justified harm as it applies to matters of bioethics, procreation, environmental policy, and reparations for slavery.
