I have taught courses in moral theory, biomedical ethics, and contemporary political philosophy. Topics covered in those courses include the inefficacy problem, principles of beneficence, moral persuasion, abortion, the non-identity problem, political authority, immigration, and ethical issues involving AI.
In addition, I am a thesis reader for a Reneé Crown Honors Scholar and was an interviewee for Syracuse's undergraduate philosophy club!
My dissertation is about justified harm and compensation. I am particularly interested in the issue of justified harm and compensation as it applies to matters of bioethics, procreation, environmental policy, and reparations.
